Funny. Just yesterday I saw a similar question posted on a blog I follow and thought to myself, I wouldn’t even know where and how to begin answering such a question. Hahaha. There are so many beautiful fics out there, it’s hard to choose just one, or even a few!  

But I’ll try. Let me see. 

I don’t really have a favourite~ per se but the first fics that come to mind are: 

Performance In A Leading Role and The Blog of Eugenia Watson by mad_lori (and as you all know, she is the famous author of Alone on the Water ;___;) 

There is also Dehumanise Me by deuxexmycroft and this fic needs apt warnings before being rec’d. I love prison AUs though so there you go. 

For some time I’ve been obsessed with Omegaverse fics and basically inhaled almost every John/Sherlock omegaverse fic. My favourite is possibly the Expectations series (WARNING WARNING MPREG IN THIS FIC — jsyk, because I’ve always been a bit cautious with mpreg because uhm no and personal preference, really. But I found that I didn’t really mind in this fic. But if you are iffy about mpreg, then this is not for you).  This series has a few of my favourite tropes which include: kid fic, Alpha/Beta/Omega Dynamics and post-Reichenbach also all the angst!!! 

I also love the Merlin as the third Holmes brother fics. :D

VIOLIN FICS because Sherlock playing the violin (for John) gives me all the feels. This is Your Song

And then there’s Once More With Feelings which is another fic that has a few of my favourite tropes, mainly, pretend boyfriends! :D 

I love AUs, as you can tell from these selections.
